Directory: Name being duplicated / repeated


 Issue

  • Directory search shows name being duplicated

  • Service Desk analysts may see the name listed as below in service desk utilities

Environment

  • LDAP
  • Directory
  • Active Directory

Cause

  •  N/a

Resolution

  • On the left in the Manage Directory Listing section, click to open the menu then click Change Your Name

  • Remove your last name, or the portion of the name that is repeated, from the field and click Update Display Name.  You will receive the below message.

  • The directory will update and will reflect the new information.
